There’s perhaps no better way to get a sense of a community’s local spirit than by attending a farmer’s market. Fresh, home-grown produce, handcrafted goods and live performances by local musicians allow you to experience the qualities that make a city unique. The
Dunedin Downtown Market
offers visitors a chance to see what life is really like in one of the Gulf Coast’s most delightful towns.
The Dunedin Downtown Market takes place in the centrally located Pioneer Park and features over 50 local vendors selling farm to market produce, artisanal baked goods, ready-made food, paintings, crafts and more! The market opens at 9:00 am, meaning you can head down early and enjoy freshly baked goods for breakfast, made by local bakers like the Glenn Family Bakery. Browse through a range of unique, made-in-Dunedin goods, such as eco-friendly straws by Bamboo Step or luxurious handmade soaps by Little Libby soap. It’s the kind of shopping experience you won’t get at a mall!
At lunchtime, enjoy a meal at a food stand serving up delicious, ready-made delights. Market food vendors will be serving up everything from Brazilian steak, Maine lobster rolls or French crepes. You can also take in a live performance by a local musician bringing some chill summer tunes to the stage.
After the market wraps up at 2:00pm, you’ll be in a great position to check out the sights of
downtown Dunedin
from the centrally located Pioneer Park. Take a stroll down Pinellas Trail and explore one of the oldest cities on Florida’s west coast.
The Dunedin Downtown Market is dog friendly, and so are the accommodations at Yacht Harbor Inn. Guests can take advantage of our free bike rentals to take to the market at Pioneer Park, which is just a three minute ride away. After exploring the downtown area, enjoy a swim in our outdoor pool or a cocktails at the beachfront Bon Appetit restaurant. Explore the different
room options
on our website and book your stay today.
